Understood.org is a non-profit foundation focused on helping parents of children with learning and thinking differences. My partner and I were tasked with developing informative and engaging social media content to reach parents who were at the beginning of their journeys of discovering their child's learning or thinking difference.

Turn That Worry Around
We tracked what parents with children with learning and thinking differences were searching for online. Then we created simple, thoughtful animations to literally turn the worries they were searching for into positive affirmations. Final social media posts included expert-based actionable solutions and assurance.
What To Do When
The beginning of a series of 90 second animated videos for YouTube that give parents actionable, optimistic advice they can put into practice that very night. Content helps parents address specific concerns they have in the beginning of their journeys uncovering their kids’ learning and thinking differences.

Take N.O.T.E. is an microsite we created to help parents determine if their child has a learning and thinking difference.
We developed a series of five videos based on relatable stories of parents discovering their child’s differences, to help parents with a journey that can be uncomfortable and uncertain.
